In 2014, Kate graduated from the University of Sydney Law Extension Committee with a Diploma in Law through the Legal Profession Admission Board.
Kate has been working with firm for over 19 years, firstly as a paralegal and an office administrator and since 2015, as a Solicitor. Kate has developed a strong expertise in all aspects of taxation ranging from advice to ATO and OSR objections of decisions.
With a commitment to expanding her expertise, Kate has enrolled in a Masters in Law, specializing in Taxation through the University of Sydney. Kate is also a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia and STEP.
Kate’s areas of practice include:
- All aspects of taxation advice – Sale of Business, Corporate Structure advice including taxation consequences of a situation, structure or transaction and state and federal taxation advice (including stamp duties, land tax & CGT);
- Estate planning and wills, including enduring guardianships, powers of attorneys and superannuation;
- Business and Taxation planning, including reviewing and drafting of commercial documents such as Trusts, Self Managed Superannuation Funds, Pensions, Div7A Loan Agreements, Limited Recourse Borrowing arrangements, Shareholder Agreements, Buy and Sell Agreements and Partition Agreements; and
- Preparation of private rulings.
