Emma has developed a keen interest in tax disputes and resolution. Emma is able to assist with matter-specific ruling requests, tax audits and voluntary disclosures. Emma is a Chartered Tax Adviser of the Taxation Institute of Australia, a member of the Society of Trustees and Estate Practitioners and holds an unrestricted practising certificate with the Law Society of New South Wales. She is also a member of the Tax Discussion Group 1 of 72 which meets on a monthly basis.
After admission, Emma worked in London at Gouldens in the commercial litigation department. She returned to Sydney in 1999 and worked in litigation at Eakin McCaffery Cox for two years. She moved into tax and began working at Kevin Munro & Associates in 2001 and then Munro Lawyers since 2007.
Outside of work and family commitments, Emma has an interest in listening to chamber music and playing her violin.
